WBanking is a WhatsApp banking platform for co-operative banks and credit societies in India, built by Ipride Solutions and Services in Pune, Maharashtra. Members message their bank on WhatsApp, the app they already use; bank staff answer, follow up and run campaigns from one dashboard.
What WBanking is, and what it is not
WBanking is software that a bank uses to serve its members on WhatsApp. It is not a bank and does not hold members' money. Each bank remains responsible for its own services, policies and regulatory obligations; during onboarding we work with the bank's team to set WBanking up in line with its board-approved policies.

How a bank goes live
Non-transactional services, such as information, enquiries, account-opening applications and campaigns, typically go live in 2–3 weeks. Transactional services such as balance and statement requests need a connection to the bank's core banking system (CBS); we build that integration for each bank, working with its CBS vendor, and these services typically go live in 4–5 weeks. Our team sets up the bank's WhatsApp Business account and trains its staff.
